Krystal Fitzgerald is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and Founder of Ascending Hands Homecare, bringing more than a decade of hands-on clinical experience and compassionate leadership to the families she serves. She graduated from Gulf Coast State College in 2012 at the top of her class, laying the foundation for a career rooted in excellence, accountability, and patient-centered care.
Throughout her nursing career, Krystal has gained extensive clinical experience across a wide range of care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, memory care units, mental health environments, and medical-surgical units. This diverse background allows her to understand not only the physical needs of patients, but also the emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges that individuals and families often face.
In addition to her professional experience, Krystal has served as a caregiver for loved ones through all walks of life, giving her a deeply personal understanding of the trust families place in those who care for their most vulnerable members. This perspective shapes her hands-on approach to leadership and reinforces her belief that exceptional home care requires both clinical knowledge and genuine compassion.
